I’m a trainer at heart - I am passionate about the dental field and love sharing that knowledge with others. My first role in dentistry was as a receptionist at a local practice - I fell in love with it! I eventually moved onto a dental practice management company where I worked in training and customer support. I made a move back to a dental practice and served as director of admin relations, where I built processes to drive efficiencies between the admin staff and clinical teams. Now, I’m working as a trainer with Flex to make sure our customers have a great user experience!
When I am not working or busy doing house projects I enjoy spending time outdoors and am always up for an adventure. Living in Wisconsin always gives me opportunities for excitement, whether it’s snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, boating, or horseback riding. I also randomly started golfing 3 years ago and I LOVE it! I am improving with lots of practice!
While I love the dental field, I’m a bit dental-phobic - I am super comfortable in the dental office until it is my turn to sit in the operatory chair!
This has always been my favorite saying, especially in my role as a trainer: "You know more today than you knew yesterday, and just think what you will know a week from now."
I joined Flex when I was looking for an opportunity to go back into training. I have a passion for working with teams and practices to help them through the transition of learning new things. I enjoy using my experiences in offering ideas to make their days and workflow better.
There are so many things! Flex is just super user-friendly and has such an easy workflow. I love FlexSchedule - it is pretty awesome! I love how easy it is for patients to use and I also enjoy helping practices with unique customizations to tailor FlexSchedule to their practice. Each practice has its specific needs and setups are so unique, it’s a lot of fun!
I get to do something I love every day as I train and support Flex customers. Feeling the accomplishment after a successful training makes me smile. But, ultimately, it’s being part of an awesome team that is cohesively pushing toward the same goal of making life easier for dental practices, one Flex install at a time!
If anyone has recommendations on which state to visit next, I’m open to suggestions!
